First World War sculpture unveiled in George Square, Glasgow as part of Scottish Poppy Appeal. The 23ft travelling statue Every Man Remembered depicts a figure in brass of the Unknown Soldier standing on a block of limestone from the Somme area of France. It is encased in a glass box with hundreds of poppies floating around it. This is the first time it has been unveiled in Scotland. Picture Robert Perry 1st Nov 2016
